Investigation will almost certainly show that T.J. Lane, the Ohio school shooter who killed three students at Chardon High School on Monday, Feb 27, 2012, was on some type of psych drugs, or had been in the past.
Here is one of many posts explaining the situation with school shooters taken from: http://www.realfreemarket.org/
It is very likely that he was taking ADHD-type medications, such as Vivanse, Ritalin, Adderall, Concerta, Dexedrine, as those medications have violence and aggression as officially stated side effects. All of these medications share [the] following as their OFFICIAL side effects:
• new or worse behavior and thought problems
• new or worse bipolar illness
• new or worse aggressive behavior or hostility
Children and Teenagers
• new psychotic symptoms (such as hearing voices, believing things that are not true, are suspicious) or new manic symptoms
[Thrill killer] Alyssa Bustamante was also taking psychiatric medications and so [were] a number of other school shooters:
Sam Manzie, 15, attacked, raped and strangled to death an 11-year-old boy selling items door to door for the PTA. He was on Paxil.
Kip Kinkel, 14, killed his parents and went on a shooting rampage at his Springfield, Ore., high school. He was taking Ritalin and Prozac.
Jeremy Strohmeyer raped and murdered a 7-year-old girl one week after he started taking Dexedrine.
Columbine High School’s Eric Harris was taking Luvox.
T.J. Solomon, 15, who attended Heritage High School in Conyers, Ga., was taking Ritalin when he opened fire on his classmates, wounding six.
The crime America may never recover from, the studied and deliberate drowning of all five of her children by a mother in Texas, was performed under the influence of “anti-depressants.”
So was the incredible stabbing murder of eight Japanese children in the first and second grades by a man on anti-depressants.
Besides those listed above, investigation will show that virtually every school shooter over at least the past 30 years has either been on psych drugs of one type or another, or was withdrawing from them. As the above post shows, it is a well known fact that psych drugs often cause people to become violent. The only reason such drugs are still allowed to be used is a testament to how apathetic this population has become.
A century or so ago, if someone had been found putting children on a substance which caused them to go berserk, they would have been strung up immediately without so much as a trial. And while that might be a bit extreme, such people are definitely criminals who need to be isolated from the rest of us until they can be reformed.
Psych drugs are dangerous. In fact, they are worse than the illegal street drugs that people are currently being jailed for selling. Making and selling such drugs is actually a crime against humanity and anyone prescribing them should be jailed immediately as a menace to society. Also, the makers or such drugs (who actually know how dangerous they really are), should have to pay restitution to everyone their drugs damaged (which is everyone who took them, whether they are aware of it or not). Of course, that amount would run into the trillions and would probably bankrupt the companies. But that might be a good thing.
In a really sane society, the practice of psychiatry would be outlawed, as would their damaging treatments (drugs, psych-surgery and electroshock). Unfortunately, this society is still far below the level of sanity. And psychiatry and psychology (the psychs) are doing their level best to make sure it stays that way. So that is one of those things in this society which really needs to be handled.
